How to Set number of rows to display in Gridview according to Dropdown Selection in Asp.net c# Using Jquery and json(ajax call method).with sql server database

any body help me to resolve my problem. post a tehcnique or samples to handle it.searching past one hour in google didnt get any clear solutions.

First design a dropdown with options like 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 etc.. And add one more parameter in AJAX request for noOfRecords to be displayed in the screen. When page loads first time make a default value as 10 and select 10 in dropdown value.

Next when user changes dropdown value, make an AJAX request to with update noOfrecords and display same in UI. In server server side you need to paging functionality.
