Data extract using delimiter

Hi,

I have data like

123,A123,ABC&456,A456,DEF&789,A789,GHI

I want to extract only 1st element after delimiter(&) and pass it to a list.

Ex: 123,456,789

Please help me

Please try below code -
string data = "123,A123,ABC&456,A456,DEF&789,A789,GHI";
string[] splits = data.Split('&');
string output = "";
for (int i = 0; i < splits.Length; i++)
{
    output += splits[i].Split(',')[0] + ",";
}
output=output.TrimEnd(',');
