i want ti change color of cell with 3 colors red, green an orange

i have columns status if

status = 1 sow cel color is red

satus = 2 color green

ans status = 3 orange

for all the rows

Hi,
That was ASP web application event. You can use below code for Windows Applictaion -
private void dataGridView1_CellFormatting(object sender, DataGridViewCellFormattingEventArgs e)
{
DataGridViewRow newRow = this.dataGridView1.Rows[e.RowIndex];
if (newRow.DataBoundItem != null)
{
int status = int.Parse(newRow.Cells[1].Value.ToString());//Change 1 to your status column index
if (status == 1)
{
newRow.DefaultCellStyle.BackColor = Color.Red;
}
if (status == 2)
{
newRow.DefaultCellStyle.BackColor = Color.Green;
}
if (status == 3)
{
newRow.DefaultCellStyle.BackColor = Color.Orange;
}
}

int status = int.Parse(e.Row.Cells[1].Text);//Here index should be changed according to index of your status column
foreach (TableCell cell in e.Row.Cells)

cell.BackColor = Color.Green;

cell.BackColor = Color.Orange;
}
}
