Datagridview in VB.net connecting to Access slow

Question

Dear Sir or Madam,


  I really need help from all of you related to VB.net.
  I'm just a new learner of Vb.net. I have some problem as follow:


  I have create a program call Karaoke Management System is used for controlling Karaoke songs.
  I used Ms. Access as database. now my data is around 14000 records.
  In vb.net, i used form with datagridview for display all titles.


  But the problem is:
  Whenever i load data from access, it take much time to display in datagridview, and also whenever i

  filter for searching any song also slow..




  So any way  or algorithm to make my program more faster????


  Note: i still want to keep Ms. Access as database.
