Hi All ,

May/ 23/2015 presently i display This type of Date format , But I need Small Change Month Name Replaced With Number , Please Give Suggestions Very Urgent.

Hi,

function getMonthFromString(mon){
   return new Date(Date.parse(mon +" 1, 2012")).getMonth()+1
}

function getMonthFromString(mon){ var d = Date.parse(mon + "1, 2012"); if(!isNaN(d)){ return new Date(d).getMonth() + 1; } return -1; }

Hello ,

you use this code.

var dateNow = new Date(); //for
var CurrentDate= new Date(dateNow.getFullYear(), dateNow.getMonth(), dateNow.getDate() ); //for current date

then u write the below function on your code:

function getFormattedDate(date) {
var year = date.getFullYear();
var month = (1 + date.getMonth()).toString();
month = month.length > 1 ? month : '0' + month;
var day = date.getDate().toString();
day = day.length > 1 ? day : '0' + day;
return month + '/' + day + '/' + year;
}

after this simply use the function like :
getFormattedDate(CurrentDate)

Result is:
12/28/2015
