Can't store big amount in Decimal(18,2) in DB.

hi,

in numeric you can not have coma,

either you can save it in nvarchar datatype or save it in numeric(18,2) without coma, and from front end you can convert this into currency format and show it

add .ToString() at end of value as below

string num = dataGridView1.Rows[i].Cells[10].Value.ToString();
string num1 = num.Replace(",", "");
cmd.Parameters.Add("@purCost", num1);

you can use

yourstringName.Replace(",","");

and please tell me string.Remove function how to use to remove commas in values?

use numeric(18,2) data type. but it wont save coma you have to remove coma

if you wanted to save with coma then use nvarchar data type
