Is there a way to choose automatic code events for tools? For example, I want to code a KeyPress event for a text box. In the Designer, I place a textbox. If I double click it, the code window opens but the automatic code is a "TextChanged" event.

Is there any way to tell the designer what event I want?

Thanks in advance. I have not had time to read through the forums here but I look forward to it. Also, if there is a forum more suited to the .NET Studio environment, let me know please.

It's a good question. Not sure if you can change the default event handler in Visual Studio. You can always go to the property window, hit the lightening bolt and double click on the event you are interested in. It's an extra step, but essentially does the same thing.
