display number in india format

Hi i need to display a number automatically with india rupee format in textbox.without symbol but comma seperated.

create an extension method for this and use it anywhere in the application.
public static class RupeesExtension
{
    public static string Convert(this decimal number)
    {
        return number.ToString("#,#.##", new CultureInfo(0x0439));
    }

    public static string Convert(this int number)
    {
        return number.ToString("#,#", new CultureInfo(0x0439));
    }
}

decimal amount= 1000000.27;
var am=amount.Convert();
O/P:- 10,00,000.27
