displaying items in textbox

how can i display information from another form and put it into another form's textbox? for example, an item has been selected and then VIEW button has been clicked. what i want to happen is to make this selected item appear in the textbox field of another form. any tip would be appreciated. thanks

i agree with u Ytram , but can i pass a string form the VIEW form to the main form

Have the other form take the string in the constructor or have a public string property that can be set by the other form. Examples: NewForm frm = new NewForm(this.DropDownList1.Text); frm.Show(); Or NewForm frm = new NewForm(); frm.TextBoxString = this.DropDownList1.Text; frm.Show();
