Does anyone know if google API's free to use?

Free/Cost based api depends upon the type of api(s). Some are free with limited hit per day/months. You need check each service in google developer site.

Google has several api(s),

- some of them are completely free

- some are free with limited request per Day/Month

- Some are fully paid versions

Would please be specific which api(s) are you using or planning to use?

Translate is not free, youtube is free, others i dont know, but keep in mind that the tech companies will never give a free unlimited access to api , they may provide free limited amount of data subject to amount of data or date of data such as for last hour or 7 days etc
