DOM not working Update Panel

I am using update panel. after a button click in grid view the DOM not working. I tried with EnableViewState="False". But in my case, the grid values are store in View State for Inital. Later the Submit button is pressed, the ViewState values are store. SO WITHOUT ENABLEVIEWSTATE method I need a solution
