by clicking on one click button suppose emp in one page that particular click was hihlated in another page in drop down list can u help us...................................... thank uuu in advance

set
PostBackUrl="dropdownpagename" to linkbutton

and on dropdownpage
if (Page.PreviousPage != null)
{
dropdownlist.selecteditem.Text = ((Linkbutton)Page.PreviousPage.FindControl("Linkbuttonid")).Text;
}

i have a link buttons like id,name,address....... so on on one web page and drop down list on another web page.. if i click on "id" link button it should navigate to another page that is drop down list page in drop down list that "id" should be in first place.. thank u for reply
