Drop Down selected value

Hi team i have a drop down values in create page once if we select the value and click on submit button it will appear on list page. but when i am going add one more record i click on create new button on that page drop down value which i selected previous. should be in hidden it should not be visible. please help me out. this should be done in front end.

Just remove the previously selected option.
$("#select_id option[value='foo']").remove();
instead of 'foo' concatinate the previosly selected value.

Now again i want to add any product this value should be hidden.
