Dropdownlist selectedindex changed using ajax withoutpostbac

Hi.

You can use ajax call where it will directly call that method and in success call you need to bind dropdownlist like this,

$.ajax({

data: data,

url: "ur url",

type: "POST",

contentType: "application/json; charset=utf-8",

success: function (result) {

//ur code to bind data to dropdown

}

error: function OnError(result) {

//ur code

}

});

or else you can use update panel also but there we need to use postback=true.
