i have to do DrpCity.SelectedIndex Instead of DrpCity.Text ....maybe somebody can help me?

DrpCity.Text = GlobalBll.GetCity().FirstOrDefault(c => c.CityId == tofess.CityId).CityName;

Try:

index = - 1;
var query = GlobalBll.GetCity().FirstOrDefault(c => c.CityId == tofess.CityId);

if (query != null)
{
string cityName = query.CityName;
ListItem li = DrpCity.Items.FindByText(cityName);
if (li != null) index = DrpCity.Items.IndexOf(li);
}

DrpCity.SelectedIndex = index;
