Hi Can i use the DSN string with SqlConnection() function.? Thanks Shailesh

You mean you want to use the dsn name as a connection string? No, you can't. The connection string must be something like: Provider=MSDASQL.1;Persist Security Info=False;Data Source=DSN_String It can be autogenerated with visual studio or with .udl properties window - detaled explanation is available several threads downwards - the one about accessing ms excel
