Email in domain exist or not

Hi munesh sharma,

Thanks for the reply.

The solution works for only gmail , whereas it not for other domain like hotmail,yahoo.co.in,rediffmail etc.

I have gone through the MX records of all the domains but was not sucessfull.

Please help...????

The solution works only for domains listed on app settings.Suppose if the user enters emailaddress as ([email protected]) then it fails right??

Mention the domain which you use to validate in web.config file in this way

In .cs file validate it in this way

Configuration webConfig = WebConfigurationManager.OpenWebConfiguration("/Asp.net.Web");// here asp.net.web is ur project name

string[] domainList = ConfigurationManager.AppSettings["DomainList"].Split(';');

and validate the user in this way domainList.Contains(mailaddress.Host) // here the mail address is the address you enter
