error in calling the stored procedure from entity framework

I created separate entity for stored procedure.

While adding function import,

I selected "Complex" in "Returns a collection of".

I clicked "Get Column Information" , but it shows "Selected stored procedure returns no column"

I did not know where i did wrong.

otherwise try like this in your code instead of linq

using (YourDataContext dc = new YourDataContext())
{
...
dc.ExecuteCommand("EXEC MyStoredProcedure");
...
}

Is the assignment name fixed? if no, then there no other way you can write query instead of dynamic sql.

network, testing, create new, newtest are assignment name in string datatype
Students is combination of firstname & lastname in string datatype
75 , 20 , 30 , 0 , 25 are pointspossible in integer datatype

not the datatype. I am referring the dynamic sql which is created thru string. Why are you using dynamic sql? Are you converting rows to columns?

you have used string sql, therefor you are not getting column information. Is it necessary for you to use string sql?
