Error in Changing the lock screen in Windows 8

I have windows 8, installed in my laptop.

My problem is that when I am changing my lock screen then an Error is coming that:

Lock screen error

Setting the lock screen failed. Please try again.

please tell me any solution for this

Check your window activation First activate your os after change. It will be work
