Extra column for ListView in C#?

Hi I made a listview with only two columns .. Name and Number .. but theres a 3rd blank column that i cant delete or anything. Can i hide it or something ?

Although you can't 'hide' a listview column, you can set its Width property to 0 so that it doesn't display.

listView1.Columns[2].Width = 0; // if it's the third column that's blank

You can also remove it altogether using the RemoveAt() method:

listView1.Columns.RemoveAt(2);

However, I'd regard these as temporary fixes - you should really try to get to the bottom of why the column is being created in the first place.

If it is a column, then I would want to know where it came from.

Note that if you had answered my question, then I would have helped you. You would have gotten the answer faster.

In the image you show, it looks like extra space. What does it look like now?

i never seen an app that has an extra column for no reason lol

The reason I asked if you are sure it is a column is because it is normal for there to be unused space at the right side of a ListView. If that is what it is then you cannot remove it because is is not a column. You can increase its size. If the data in the other columns need more space then it would be good to use as much space as they need and and that is available. Otherwise you can ignore it; people are accustomed to seeing extra space like that.

Are you sure it is a column, or are you assuming it is?
