Fetching Data from databse to an Array without usin any ADO objects
hi, I am building a web application in which i need to fetch data from database to an array without using any kind of ADO objects
i.e. i am restricted not to use dataset, datatable, TableAdpter, datareadder or Datalist,Repeater,ArrarList,ListItem but i can use connection object.in short only ARRAY Nothing Else
Is there any solution to this if yes please

There is no way to access a database in ADO.NET without using a combination of the classes you mentioed above.
If you can use previous technologies such as ADO (previous version of ADO.NET), then you don't have to use ADO.NET classes (DataSet, DataTable, DataAdpater etc) but you will still have to use the ADO classes.

Only the connection object wont fetch the data. You have to use other objects along with connection object to fetch the data.
