hii

i have 2 directories

source

destination

i want to check the files in the directories

if i have new files in the source directoy i want to copy them to destination directory

how can i do it

Have you tried FileSystemWatcher class?

Its easy to implement and it triggers when there is a modified/delete/new file was done.

Maybe thats why you don't know what is in your "filenamesource" and "filenamedest"?

Method "GetFiles" returns full path with file name.

You can display result in your console and then try do something.

Algorithm:
1. List files.

2. Compare files by name maybe? Or other properties you can use e.g. class FileInfo.

3. Copy files if not exists in target path.
