Friends can you suggest a good laptop with good battery life and good performance. Basically am a dot net developer mainly works on Visual Studio (multiple instances) and SQL server & SQL Developer.

If want to consider better battery life and better performance i would suggest you to buy business laptops.
1)Lenavo ThinkPad. 2) HP Zbook. 3) Dell lattitude / Ultrabook.
Till now i have used these three laptops more then 3 year in each organization. Highly recommended.

I recommend you ThinkPad 495 series, buy in lenavo store or online through amazon or flipkart or you can also directly deal with lenavo website

Any specific models on Lenovo Thinkpad? And will you get these models in offline stores or only in Online?

Can we buy the laptops online like Amazon / Flipkart?

Completely agree with @Rajanikant Hawaldar , i am using dell latitude for 3 years , and din't face any issue till date.
