Garbage Collector run

Normally, you should allow the CLR to decide on the best time to invoke the garbage collector.

However, there are a few situations where you might want to invoke it yourself - let's say you're about to execute a critical piece of code in a 'real time' application and you don't want the GC kicking in in the meantime.

You can then call GC.Collect() just before you enter the critical code to minimize the chances of this happening.
