is this work as expected we work on xcode.

I hope you need a basic knowledge of C# in coding wise and performance wise, it works as expected in xcode.

Better you try VS 2017, in this no need to Install more components or plugins. While Installing, give / select Xamarian . (Try Community Version - Its Free) .

In VS 13 we cannot work or Install. You have to update / Install to VS 15 and, while installing process, click custom option and select Xamarin.
