mithun? you are really sure that ppl at dotnetcore didnt plan us wanting to know who's connecteds? i find it very weird that there is not some kind of collection that retains the user connected ... i'll take your word as it is.. because i want to handle ws connection with dnc identity... and i wished i didn't have to implement a ws/user map...

It's not inbuilt. You should implement custom User class by extending the Identity User class, add boolean field, set it to true when user logs in and set it to false when user logs out.

 

With this approach, out of 10 users in system, 4 users who are logged in will have this value as true and in this way you can get who is logged in presently

Are you using ASP.NET Core Identity framework? If so then you need to extend User class so that you can update it when a user logs in and update to false if the user logs out.

 

There's nothing inbuilt for this.
