Github Action Deployment Failed with Error

Failed to fetch credentials from Publish Profile. For more details on how to set publish profile credentials refer https://aka.ms/create-secrets-for-GitHub-workflows
Deployment Failed with Error: Error: Publish profile does not contain kudu URL
On deployment in Actions tab of Github repo I got this error. I have added the entire content of publish setting file. Why this happened? Any work arounds?

This is a bug while creating an Azure WebApp. You can see the discussion on it at https://github.com/Azure/webapps-deploy/issues/28
And about work around if you can create a new webapp it will be less time consuming if that is not the case - I have asked similar question in Stackoverflow and posted the answer to it. @Sachin Singh Thanks for the help. @Kokul Jose Read your answer at Stackoverflow and resolved the issue. Creating a new webapp consumes comparatively less effort but I have some organizational constrains on creating a new webapp.

In the Azure portal, navigate to the dashboard of your web site. Under the quick glance section click the Download publish profile link and save the file.
use
[app-name].scm.azurewebsites.net instead of
waws-prod.publish.azurewebsites.windows.net
And leave rest as it is.

add .scm to your publish url like given below
https:<example>.scm.azurewebsites.net
