gridview cell values

  If you're populating the grid from this sort of statement in Page_Load:

  
  

  If Not Page.IsPostBack Then 

  
  

     ' populate the grid

  
  

  End If

  
  

  then a simple way to check whether it's a postback problem or not is to remove the 'If' statement and see whether the Text properties are still empty following a button click.

  yes it is gridview
  And i thinks because of it is on button click server might not getting anything
  If it is what might be solution?

  Are you sure that GridView1 is the GridView? I am not very experienced with ASP but I know that things like that are not as simple as we would like. Since you are doing it in a button click, that means that the client computer must send something back to the server, correct? Are you sure the server is getting the GridView correctly?

  Do you have this problem only for the cell at (0,1) or for other cells in the same row or column?
