I know u can help me.
I have a grid view & on its row updating event i am updating a record & inserting a new record in a different table & again binding the grid which is taking a long time.& sometimes i get an error as the server request timed out.
plz help guys to make it faster.

don't understand what you exactly saying... plz explain.
1. whether you have 2 different tables from which one is initially attached to gridview
2. on row updating event you change data in table one
3. then saving a whole updated record as new record into 2nd table
reply whether above points are right... or any else that you what to say.
