Hi I have used gridview and i add a button in earch row i want when i click on button that row will be deleted can any one tell me...?

As Dorababu said cause of postback your gridview got rebinded. Avoid the postback while binding gridview.

Put a breakpoint and check the ch is null or not if it is null then your checkbox din't got initialize in gridview. It might be here the id of checkbox is wrong. CheckBox ch= (CheckBox)row.FindControl("cbRows");//this id

In your button evet handler, place this code: dataGridView1.Rows.Remove(dataGridView1.CurrentRow); it should work Ali
