I want to Group by in datatable in C# and Merge Grouped Records in one

thank u manas but my requirent slight different
DataTable dtEmp = new DataTable();
dtEmp.Columns.Add("EmpID", typeof(int));
dtEmp.Columns.Add("EmpName", typeof(string));
dtEmp.Columns.Add("Sal", typeof(decimal));
dtEmp.Columns.Add("DeptNo", typeof(int));

dtEmp.Rows.Add(1, "Manas", 10000, 1);
dtEmp.Rows.Add(2, "Himesh", 20000, 2);
dtEmp.Rows.Add(3, "Debu", 30000, 2);
dtEmp.Rows.Add(4, "Amulya", 5000, 3);
and result will be shows expected

1 Manasm 10000 1
2 Himesh,Debu 20000,30000 2
3 Amulya 5000 3

bring datatable format like this

dtEmp.Columns.Add("DeptNo", typeof(int));

dtEmp.Rows.Add(1, "Manas", 10000, 1);
dtEmp.Rows.Add(2, "Himesh", 20000, 2);
dtEmp.Rows.Add(3, "Debu", 30000, 2);
dtEmp.Rows.Add(4, "Amulya", 5000, 3);

var GroupBy = dtEmp.AsEnumerable().GroupBy(e=>e.Field<int>("DeptNo")).Select(d => new{ d.Key, Count = d.Count() });
DataTable dtTemp = GroupBy.CopyToDataTable();
DataTable dtObj2 = new DataTable("tableName2"); // Set table name
//merging first data table into second data table
dtObj2.Merge(dtObj1);
Note: You may need to change the code as per your requirement.

Hi.
Please refer this article for grouping in datatable and after then when you get the grouped records then you can place them in another datatable.
