I want to start iPhone Application Development, can somebody tell me what is the minimum hardware requirements for iPhone Application Development..?

The iPhone SDK is basically just Xcode 3 with some additional development targets. As far as I know, any Mac capable of running OS X 10.5 should be able to run Xcode 3.
Here are the requirements for OS X 10.5 Leopard:
* Mac computer with an Intel, PowerPC G5, or PowerPC G4 (867MHz or faster) processor
* 512MB of memory
* DVD drive for installation
* 9GB of available disk space
Additional requirements for Xcode:
* Developer tools require 1GB of memory and an additional 3GB of available disk space.
