Have file size is limited to 50MB to upload in SharePoint?

In Central Administration, in Application Management, click Manage web applications.

select the application (for example, SharePoint - 80).
On the Web Applications ribbon, click the down arrow on the General Settings button.
Click General Settings.
Scroll to Maximum Upload Size

From their you can change the size of upload file in sharepoint

Hi,
are you trying to upload the file from SharePoint or another third party program or programmatically?

also, can you check your browser's time out limit (if you are uploading the file from browser)?

Are you referring to list attachment or uploading file to document library?
