Help - losing my C# .NET skills

Sep 17 2008 4:31 PM

Guys,

for the past two years I feel as if I have been bamboozled.  I started using C# on the .NET platform around 2004.  after being in that position through 2006 I took a job as a .NET developer which later turned into production support due to reorganization and lack of open positions.  My previous employer wanted me to come back as a .NET developer based on the skills I had displayed prior to leaving.  After feeling nervous due to a lack of development I ran back and was hired as a .NET developer only to be part of another reorg that moved me to an SSIS, oracle backend developer.  Therefore, for 2 years I haven't had any significant exposure to developing with the technology that I love.  Now I'm having a very hard time finding another job due to my lack of activity with the technology.  Help!!!!!  any ideas or thoughts that you guys can give me to put me back on the road to recovery will be highly appreciated.  I'll take a entry level to mid level position.  I just need to get back in.

Thanks for listening to my plea for HELP!!!!!!!!!!!
