Hiding a file/directory

Hi, I want to hide a file/directory through c#. Please give me a solution. Hiding a folder using Below solutions,The folder is visible when you change the property in view tab (OR) When you search with a criteria in that particular drive or directory.

the only way to do its is that you disable all the functionality from which user can find the file

Like

Disable Folder Options in Window

Disable Search Service

but this is Kind of Virus Activity :-D

My dear friend, My task is to lock the folder by using C# language.

my friend, Windows doesnt support hiding file/directory it doesnt metter what Programing language you use :-)
