Hosting Web Application thru ASP.NET 4.0

Good Day to all!

we'll i'm new in this world of web application development. totally im a new learner (and eager to learn).
i've already made a web application using asp.net 4.0 mvc2.

My question is: (please be patient with my questions as i didn't really know what should i do next)
1. how would my web app be used in a real website (e.g. www.davao.com).
2. how could i make an web address since in my desktop the web address that showed in my browser is "local.****.***"
3. how could i make my web address real?
4. is there any apps that needed?
5. should i have to spend money?
6. could i use my desktop to be a server, for only this trial hosting?

WHAT WILL I DO??????

i only know how to make the application, i dont know how to host it.
