how about the career in .NET

hello sir,

I'm a BPO folk who is working in IT application support domain from past 1.5 years as an IT application support analyst. as i told earlier i'm not from IT back ground. But now i'm use to it. So i want to continue my career in IT domain itself. but want to move to further level (like a tester or developer) so i'm taking .NET course from NIIT. But someone told me that there is no well growth in .net . So .net developers are the second least in secure job it seems. is it so? please do advise me how about the career growth in .net for starter? also i'm pretty much aware of web development like HTML & CSS.

Dot Net evolving day to day basis, so the .NET is best to choose for the great career, you can concentrate on following things
WPF, MVC ,WEB API, UWP etc..,

You should start from basic
asp.net,

You can start learning MVC it is independent of dot net.
It is easy to learn.Most of the companies need MVC developers today.

You Know around 80 K jobs are there every year in Dotnet every year

Thats the Typical midnset which is been set from the college ( Unfortunately no one has done any sort of Coding or development ) That java is good an Dotnet is Not Good No Jobs for them

Just look at the csharponer comunity where You are posting these things

Right From Cloud ,Open Source ,BI ,Databases Dotnet is Full of them

it is a myth that Dotnet jobs are not secure

You are Not secure when You dont Perform Be It Dotnet,Java, Or the Php ..

Only one advice in this "Just go For it "

You want to see the Potential of the Dotnet just look at the Csharpconrner authors ,blogs an people contibuting to it.It is always a better choice to start with .
Keep In Mind any technology U have to learn an adopt the new things to survive the things there
