how add gender in existing table and how access from databas

In SQL Server Execute the Query as below

//To Add New Coloumn

Syntax:

ALTER TABLE table_name

ADD column_name datatype

Query:

ALTER TABLE EMPLOYEE

ADD Gender varchar(6)

//To Insert/update Value

Syntax:

UPDATE table_name

SET column_name=value where ID in (id1,id2,id3,...)

Query:

Update EMPLOYEE set Gender='Male' where EMPNO in (7369,7499,7521)

Update EMPLOYEE set Gender='Female' where EMPNO in (7698,7788,7844)

(7369,7499,7521) who all are Male Employees

(7698,7788,7844) who all are Female Employees
