How can i add content from document file or pdf file into ssrs repoert(.rdl file )

If you want to show file inside the report you can convert your pdf or doc file to image and then display the image in your report.You can find many tool that convert pdf/doc to image. But I want it in inside report, so that even I can print with report, report has header and footer also. Is there any other possibilities?

Hi
There is no such control in toolbox to show doc or pdf file in rdl or rdlc file.
However, instead you can create a hyperlink pointing to your file location.
Follow the steps:
1. Take a textbox -> properties -> Action
-> select GO TO URL -> write the full path of your file location.
2. Goto code behind and write :
Reportviewer.LocalReport.EnableHyperlinks =true;
3. Raise the Reportviewer.Hyperlink event.
4. Write System.Diagnostics.Process.Start (e.Hyperlink);
Thats all you have to do
