How can i add (-) hyphin in CNIC ?

hi every one

i have a textbox of CNIC i want when user either Enter CNIC 41111-8888888-9 or 4111188888889 as this pattern but when this one insert in my SQL table so pattern should be 41111-8888888-9

i want to do this using Query

you can do this using this query
Select substring(Replace('41111-8888888-9','-',''),1,5)+'-'+substring(Replace('41111-8888888-9','-',''),6,7)+'-'+substring(Replace('41111-8888888-9','-',''),13,1) as c1, Replace('4111188888889','-','') as c2
this would help you to do this
