How can I display different form fields in a class-based view dependin

Probably, but I am an actual idiot. I have avoided class-based views this entire time because I don't understand them. Don't even know how to use get()

Oh my god I finally fixed it. Thanks for your help guys Might not be the most optimal way to do it, but it works and I'm happy about it. I used the dispatch method to solve it.

In def get_form(): return form_class(**self.get_form_kwargs()) I know I am rubbish at Django (and Python!), but I'm just trying to brute force my way through this project. So if I ever get stuck again, I can just look back at my solutions. But after this project, I want to go back to Python and learn more.

I did, But in my courses I never came across **self.

Right, thanks once again both for that. I'll look into it. I have no idea how to actually perform the logic required to help choose which form to use in a class-based view, though:(

maybe it is place for strategy pattern so you define a few forms and then depending on situation pick one you need.
