Actually i want to create a win app in C#, for attendance system for my employees but i don't know how to get the finger print read data from laptop bio reader censor ???

Hi @Ziddi,

After some research I have come up with some ideas, which might help you get an idea of implementation.

As I had already stated, there is no public API available to scan images, storing and manipulating scanned fingerprints. However, it depends on the SDKs of the manufacturer to provide such support.

@amresh bro i'm using laptop own finger reader sensor for attendance, which manufacturer by UPEK... is that possible ?? i'm very new for this and i need solid help... if you know about API for it then please help me....

Hi @Ziddi,

I understood that you are going to create a utility for attendance system with finger print censors via C#.

Actually there doesn't exists any universal API for biometerics. The devices used for biometric systems have it's own SDK.

What kind of Biometric devices are you supposed to use? Each kind of devices have it's own flexibility of support to create a custom app via it's SDK.
