How can i install mvc in visual studio 2008

you can install MVC 2 for both VS2008 and VS2010. Download the EXE installer for VS2008 from Microsoft site. It should only install the tooling component of VS2008

You do need to have MVC 1.0 installed if you want to open 1.0 projects in VS 2008. MVC 1.0 and MVC 2 can exist SxS.

Also, 2010 has a conversion wizard for MVC 1.0 projects to upgrade them to 2.0
