How can i set color in Gridview Column

Hi,

I want set color in grid view i want fix through text value like

if column value like (success) then value should be green

and if column value like (unsuccess) then value should be Red.

You can write code as given below. I hope it may be helpful for you.

protected void gvBandA_RowDataBound(object sender, GridViewRowEventArgs e) 
{ 
gvBandA.Columns[1].ItemStyle.BackColor = System.Drawing.Color.Yellow; 
 gvBandA.Columns[1].ItemStyle.ForeColor = System.Drawing.Color.Fuchsia;
}

if (item.Cells[3].Value.ToString()=="success")
{
item.DefaultCellStyle.BackColor = Color.Green;

}
}

You should mention that in original thread, itsDataGridview not Gridview.
