You cannot use Array.Resize method for multidimensional array. The Array.Resize accepts only one-dimensional array.

There is no direct resize method for multidimensional array but can work around like this. int [,] a = new int[2,2]; int [,] b = new int[4, 4]; ; a[0, 0] = 1; a[0, 1] = 2; a[1, 0] = 3; a[1, 1] = 4; Array.Copy(a, b, a.Length);
