How check the existence of invoice no in sql?

You can write a Stored procedure in SQL to check if a row exists in given table with given input value by using below procedure code

!--Sql Server Stored Procedure

CREATE procedure [dbo].[SPValidateInvoice]

(@invoice_num bigint,@out bit out)

begin

if EXISTS (select * from Invoice where InvoiceID=@invoice_num)

begin

set @out=1

return @out

end

else

begin

set @out=0

return @out

end

And return out parameter named 'out' as 1 if row exists and returns 0 if row doesnt exists.

Based on this return value from procedure, you can proceed with the required functionality according to the requirement.
