How do I get the active item in a listview?

I couldn't do it quite as easy as SelectedItems.Text because SelectedItems got no public property called Text, but I could do it this way. ListViewItem activeItem = new ListViewItem(); activeItem = listView1.SelectedItems[0]; MessageBox.Show(activeItem.Text); This only gives you the first element in the list of selected items, but in my case that's what I want. I don't think it's much of a problem getting the rest of them just by running a for-loop.

listview.SelectedItem is what ur looking for, which has methods such as subitems, .Text and so on listview.SelectedItems.Text
