How do you get a MS Word document to print in the correct size of a standard letter page from a website you are building?

I cannot get a word document installed into my website in such a way that it prints as a standard sized document. I have tried converting it to an htm file in Word, but it still prints larger than one standard page. If I knew how to make a table the exact size of a standard Word document or letter paper I might be able to constrict the size in such
a way it would print correctly. Does anyone know a method to install a Word document so it prints the correct size from a website? I have tried to use a link to the word document but the document never comes up that way. Any help would be appreciated. I am a 68 year old retiree working as a volunteer for a non-profit group trying to build a new website for them. I would appreciate any help I can get.

I mean that any visitor to the website cannot get it to print as a standard letter sized document.It is the sizing from the website that is the problem.

Please post questions only once. If someone can help then they will reply. Posting the same question more than once will just make it less likely yoiu will get help because people that volunteer their time to help others don't like to make replies when the reply has already been posted by someone else.
