how i know about the routing procedure in asp.net MVC Framework

hi,
i am new on asp.net development site.i try to learn mvc framework on my own interest.but i dont find the solution of dropdownlist selected item seleted prob and also gridview control and the routing procedure.can any one help me to give me some solution or suggestion
