How to access the Stored Procedure in Other Server

Hi Guys,

Is it Possible To access the Stored Procedure from the other Server Sql Server to another Sql Server

For Example Consider

Stored Procedure Name : USP_GetResults which is the Sql Server ip name 192.168.1.98

can we access this procedure to another Sql Server ip name 192.168.1.103

Another possible approach is make a linked server between 2 servers and call your sp like in below format.

exec [192.168.1.103].[dbname].dbo.[your sp name] with parameters.

Here 192.168.1.103 is linked server name. Check below link for making linked server

Please try the below,

EXEC [servername].[dbname].dbo.[StoredProcedure]

Also please refer linked server concept in SQL.

Hi ,

Of course you can do that !! You can use the Opendatasource to do that thing!

Here is an easy example :
EXEC OPENDATASOURCE('SQLNCLI',
    'Data Source=192.168.1.98;Integrated Security=SSPI')
    .YourDatabase.YourSP

If you have access permission to the database (192.168.1.103 ) then you can.
